Enkang oo-nkiri
Samburu, Kenya
Learn about Enkang oo-nkiri, A ritual that formally allows the new junior elders (after Eunoto) to eat meat in the company of elders. It solidifies their new status within the elder age group.
Adumu (The Jumping Dance):
Kajiado, Kenya
This is not a standalone event but a central part of many ceremonies, especially those involving morans (like Eunoto). Men form a circle and take turns jumping as high as they can while others sing a guttural chorus.
